Why Therapy?
Therapy has been a proven key intervention for children who have developmental delays or an underlying diagnosis. Pediatric therapists assist in helping children meet developmental milestones. Our therapists are a team of dedicated and experienced professionals that provide care and compassion to all of the babies and children we treat.
Does my child require a referral from a medical doctor?
Yes, if therapy is needed, your child's primary care physician will write a prescription for your child to begin therapy. (referral form below) Make an appointment with your child's primary care physician if you have any concerns regarding your child's development.
How do I know if my child will benefit from therapy?
If you have concerns with developmental delays you can request a screening for your child. We can provide complimentary screenings in speech, occupation, physical, and developmental therapies.
How much will therapy cost?
Medicaid and most private insurance benefits cover pediatric therapy sessions. If you have specific questions about your coverage, one of our insurance specialists would be happy to assist you.
The daycare my child attends informed me that my child may benefit from therapy. What is my next step?
Contact Creative Kids Therapy to discuss the referral and evaluation process. One of our referral specialists would be happy to guide you through the referral process.
My Child has been receiving therapy services and I want to switch providers. What is the next step?
Contact Creative Kids Therapy to discuss the referral process for patients currently receiving services. One of our referral specialists will guide you through the process and obtain the necessary information. You may also fill out a "Release of Health Information" request (below) and email it to cktofnea@gmail.com
